Participating school districts receiving funding pursuant to Section 44492 shall establish a special account exclusively for the support of the mentor teacher program. None of the funds allocated by the superintendent pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 44492 for purposes of providing stipends to mentor teachers shall be used by the participating district for the cost of administering the program.
