1. Your Personal Physician

Your personal physician is a resource for smoking cessation. Physicians may prescribe Nicotine Patches, Nicotine Gum or other medications as well as refer you to programs that can help you quit smoking. Typically, medications are used in conjunction with individual or group behavior management programs.

2. Psychotherapy, Hypnosis and other methods

Some people find that psychotherapy, hypnosis, or other methods are effective in helping to quit smoking. Your personal physician or Health Care Provider can assist you in finding a good practitioner.
