Abolishment of terminable interest doctrine

It is the intent of the Legislature to abolish any remaining application of the terminable interest doctrine in California relating to the division of public retirement benefits of a member in the event of dissolution of marriage or death if the division is made under the chapter.

(Repealed and added by Stats. 1993, Ch. 893, Sec. 1 and 2.)
