Standardized Testing And Reporting Program

The Superintendent/Principal or designee shall administer mandatory student assessments within the state Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program as required by law and in accordance with Board policy and administrative regulation.

The Board of Trustees desires to use the results of the achievement tests to evaluate the performance of district students against the state's academic standards, the performance of students in other districts across the state, and national norms.

To ensure maximum student participation, the Superintendent/Principal or designee shall notify students and parents/guardians of the importance of these achievement tests.
