
In order to establish and support a guiding vision for the district, the Governing Board shall develop, articulate, and regularly review an overarching set of fundamental principles which describe the district's core beliefs, values, and tenets. The Board and district staff shall incorporate these principles into all programs, activities, and operations of the district.

We believe that curriculum is designed to provide pathways to success beyond high school
Co-Curricular Activities
We believe that strong co-curricular programs develop social, emotional and physical well-being for students, enhance self-esteem and promote interest in learning.
Leadership
We believe that in order for schools to be effective learning institutions, quality leadership and direction is essential.
Community
We believe that the mission of our schools as community hubs is enhanced when parents and community members understand that the district and school sites value their input, presence and contributions.
Fiscal Operations
We believe that by maintaining a sound, responsible fiscal plan which is conducted within all guidelines set by County, State and Federal governments, trust is established between the district, its communities and its employees.
Support
We believe that qualified and responsible district support services enhance the overall educational environment.
Personnel
We believe that recruiting, hiring, training and retaining the highest quality personnel is essential to accomplishing high student achievement.
Technology
We believe that when students are competent in the use of technology, they are prepared for future educational opportunities, career opportunities and are more fully equipped to succeed in the rapidly changing world.
Facilities
We believe that providing excellent facilities enables and enhances the educational program.
Values
We believe that when the district, board and school sites are accountable for providing an atmosphere that demonstrates honesty and integrity, fosters strong personal and moral values, develops pride in self, community, service, and nation and teaches appreciation for diversity, students are better prepared to become responsible, productive citizens.
