Retirement Age
There shall be no compulsory retirement age.
Retirement from Service
Employees should notify the Superintendent or designee of their intention to retire as soon as possible so that a suitable replacement may be found. Notice must be given by February 1 preceding the intended year of retirement.
Retirement for Disability
Any certificated employee may retire for disability under certain terms and conditions. (Education Code 23902 et seq.)
